My home phone rang Motzei Shabbos. I didn't have my cellphone with me. Its a calculated choice. I hate my cell phone. Hate is a strong word, I hate my cell phone. My phone is dated, old and texting on it is nasty. I think i could text faster on a rotary phone then I do with this device. I picked up the phone, it was production. "The photoshoot that was supposed to happen on Friday fell through." Freak! We had plans about this photoshoot. The editor and I did research, thought about the appropriate mood, and now the whole thing looked like it wasn't going to happen. "Lior is on the way to Beni Braq ( i love the "q" its soooo middle eastern) and is going to take the pictures". Massive! Lior is a fantastic photographer and he was on route to the photoshoot. I was doubtful that we would get the pictures in the way we wanted, but I explained the idea we had to Lior regardless. Who knows? Maybe it would work out. And it did. In the end, I loved the fact that production was on it, I loved the pictures, and I love the cover. But I still hate my phone.
