Let me know if you would like to see this pattern as a downloadable vector. It would be my New Years gift to you
Yesterday I was inspired by the post of Becky Simpson. She had posted a pattern. So here is a pattern that I created with the eps file as well. All done in a day! Thanks for the inspiration
The Jewish new year is approaching. Last month I was reading books of the old shtetl in Poland. Communities destroyed overnight by the German blitzkrieg . I find these illustration cathartic. Reminds me of a time long ago. This illustation is from a town in poland called Tykocin. Please click on button below to download. To find out more about the Tykocin click here
Just sold an illustration on my istock account. Got hyped to do some more. I made some money from istock. Nothing much to write home about, but its great to see your art come up on the first page when you do a search. It inspired me to give away a vector that I will post soon. Get it now because soon you you will pay for it
Sometimes the awesome just doesn't make it. Sometimes there's too much awesome to choose from. (I know, great problem: great magazine.) So this time, you choose. Let me explain... Last week I posted some gorgeous photos from Mishpacha photographers that didn't make it into the magazine for lack of page space. Similarly, there are times that the graphic department propose an idea but for whatever reason it doesn't get greenlighted. Sometimes it's not the editors' vision, sometimes it's the rabbinical board, and sometimes it the evil overbearing creative director. :) Last week one of our graphic designers, Leah Pinsky, proposed a few design ideas for an article in Family First about dating. You know which one went to print (don't you???) but I'm kind of curious which one you would have chosen. Click your pick: DEsign 1However this one below was our choice. It was selected to go further. We liked it so much so we wanted to show you. DESIGN 2Just came back from vacation. While I was away I stumbled into a book store and came across some great book covers. I took a mental snapshot of the titles and put them together here so you could join me in my window shopping. #Design #BookCovers #VacationInspiration
