Please see for your self some of Olly Moss work
Mag issue 506. A historical piece based on an event during World War II. I wanted this article to have a book/movie poster feel. For inspiration I did not have to seek much farther than the 2D brilliance of Olly Moss. Looking at the body of work of Olly Moss will smack reminiscent of Saul Bass, a comparison Mr. Moss would gladly concede to. Moss's mastery is found in his ability to break things down to the simplest idea. So I took up the challenge to mimic, not in rendering, but rather in thinking, to sum up this article in one simple image. Trying my best to produce some Moss magic. Please see for your self some of Olly Moss work BTW My article could not have worked without the amazing free brushes offered by Chris Oatly.
